If you have not yet backed up your data, stop the installation now, and back up your data. On the " Where do you want to install Windows?" page, select the appropriate location and click " Next." The installer may warn you that all information contained on the hard drive will be erased.On the " Which type of installation do you want?" screen, click " Custom(advanced)." Note: Selecting upgrade will most likely lead to system corruption.On the " Please read the license terms" screen, read the license terms, check the box next to " I accept the license terms", and click Next.On the " Install Windows" screen, follow any instructions that are displayed, click Next, and then click Install.This is accomplished in various ways, if you are unsure how to do this on your computer, visit the Microsoft Windows 7 Support Page. Insert the Windows 7 Professional DVD into your DVD drive, and restart your computer.Note: These instructions assume you have already obtained a copy of Windows 7 (from the IST Software Download page ), "burned" the file to a DVD, and obtained a valid Windows 7 product key (from the IST Software Download page, located in the right panel). Please write down your product key on the printed copy of this page, as you will not have access to it once you start the installation process. Your computer must be shut down prior to installation of Windows 7 and you will be unable to check this page until Windows 7 has been installed.
